Disability Support worker - Cerebral palsy

Our client currently seeking to fill vacancies for a Disability Support Worker (NDIS)- Cerebral palsy in Thornleigh ( Sydney ) with immediate start.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 2+ years' experience of working as a disability support worker - cerebral palsy.

• Experience of working with cerebral palsy adults with high physical support needs, ABIs, high intensity support needs, behaviours of concern, including restrictive practices and food preparation.

• Hoist and Wheelchair operation is essential.

• Current NDIS Worker Screening Check,

• Working with Children Check,

• National Police Check,

• Vaccinations (including COVID), CPR & First Aid,

• right to work in Australia,

• 100 Points of ID,

• Full driving licence, access to a reliable car & comprehensive car insurance is essential.

• Cert III Individual Supports, Cert IV Disability and / or Mental Health Care Qualification, equivalent or higher are preferred.

• Current medication administration certification and manual handling certification is required.

• Ability to communicate, problem solve and use life experience along with integrity, honesty & reliability are critical attributes for this role, as is a good sense of humour.

We are only seeking applicants who have relevant are reliable and committed to delivering quality care and have the qualifications and at least 2+ years of disability support worker experience - cerebral palsy.

NOTE: All support worker roles may include some level of personal care and assistance as a standard part of the disability support worker's role. 

Job hrs :  8 AM to 10 AM.  11:30 AM to 1:30 PM. 6 PM to 10 PM.

Per day hrs : 6 to 8 hrs
