We are seeking casual staff that can provide housekeeping, transport, grocery shopping services, social support and meal preparation assistance to our elderly customers still living in their own home in the Newcastle, Raymond Terrace, Port Stephens and Lake Macquarie areas

Our Home Care Workers are field-based, delivering direct services to our customers and are responsible for the provision of consistently high quality support that enhances customer experience.

About You ...

As a key NovaCare ambassador and highly visible organisational representative, Home Care Workers project a positive and professional image that enhances the reputation of NovaCare as a provider of choice within the community.

To succeed in this role you will possess a: 

• demonstrated ability to build rapport, establish relationships and adapt communication style to suit different audiences.
• proven ability to work independently and exercise sound decision making skills within an autonomous environment.
• confidence and proficiency with electronic technology including mobile devices and applications.
• willingness to be responsive and flexible.
• demonstrated recognition of the demands of a customer driven service delivery model that empowers choice.

You must also have the following (essential):

• aged care or community services sector experience is not essential however a background in hospitality, customer service or commercial cleaning is highly desirable
• current NSW drivers licence;
• reliable car with comprehensive car insurance; and
• a willingness to work mornings, afternoons and evenings and weekend.
• Eligibility to work in Australia
