Description:
- Service Type: Respite Care
- Suburb: Trafalgar, VIC
- Start Date: 21/05/2025
- Frequency: Every 2 Weeks
- Preferred Day/Time: Wednesday, 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM
- Client Flexibility: Can also do Fridays at the same time (1:00 PM – 4:00 PM)
- Client Requirements & Preferences Gender Preference: Male carer preferred.
- Experience Required: Must have experience supporting clients with dementia.
- Transport Approved: Yes – 120 km approved.
- Vehicle: Medium size car (SUV-type preferred). Work Instructions Accompanied outings such as trips to Warragul or Traralgon shopping centres. Prompt client to slow down and take breaks when walking. Provide support with continence aids (pull-ups) if needed. Monitor for falls risk – high alert. Support with 4-wheel walker mobility.
