As a member of our home and community care workforce, you will have the opportunity to provide crucial support and assistance to individuals in need. This role involves visiting clients in their own homes or in the community to help with daily activities, personal care, companionship, and more.
We are looking for individuals who are reliable, empathetic, and committed to making a positive impact on the lives of others. If you have a genuine interest in helping people and a strong sense of community spirit, this could be the perfect job for you.
Key Responsibilities:- Assisting clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Providing companionship and emotional support to clients
- Assisting with household tasks such as meal preparation, light cleaning, and laundry
- Escorting clients to medical appointments or social outings
- Monitoring and reporting any changes in client's condition or well-being
- Previous experience in home and community care is desirable but not essential
- Compassionate and empathetic nature
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid Full Australian Drivers License
- Current Police check and working with children check
