• Provide personal care assistance such as showering, grooming and dressing with respect and sensitivity to client preferences.
• Support mobility, transfers and safe use of mobility aids while following manual handling principles.
• Assist with medication prompts, meal preparation and light household tasks that promote a safe living environment.
• Offer companionship and emotional support, encourage social engagement and meaningful daily activities.
• Observe and report changes in client condition, needs or environment to supervisors in a timely way.
• Adhere to infection control procedures, privacy standards and client-centered care plans.

This role suits a warm, trustworthy and proactive female care worker who communicates clearly in Spanish (Castilian) and English, and who brings culturally sensitive care. You will be adaptable to on-demand scheduling and able to respond to shifts with short notice. Strong interpersonal skills and a calm demeanor are essential for building rapport with clients and families.

• Female candidate required for client matching criteria.
• Fluent in Spanish, Castilian; English communication skills are beneficial.
• Current National Police Check and Working with Children Check provided and valid.
• Previous experience in personal care, disability or aged care preferred.
• Current first aid and CPR certification or willingness to obtain where required.
• Reliable transport or ability to travel within the Petersham area.
