As a Personal Care Assistant you will support clients with daily living activities, mobility assistance, personal hygiene, meal preparation, and friendly companionship. You will work across varied shifts on an on-demand basis, responding to bookings via a mobile platform. This role suits attentive, adaptable carers who value independence, dignity and practical problem-solving.

• Assist with personal care tasks including showering, dressing and toileting while maintaining respect and privacy.
• Support mobility and transfers with safe manual handling techniques and equipment where required.
• Prepare nutritious meals and assist with eating as required, following dietary preferences and plans.
• Provide medication prompts and support with routines as directed by care plans (not administering medications unless qualified).
• Offer companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities to promote wellbeing and social connection.
• Keep accurate records of care delivered, communicate changes in client needs to supervisors, and follow infection control practices.

• Full Australian Driver’s Licence and reliable vehicle to travel to client homes across Coburg and surrounding areas.
• Valid Police Check and Working with Children Check as required by service agreements and client preferences.
• Current CPR and first aid certification or willingness to obtain certification promptly.
• Experience in aged care, disability support, or personal care roles is highly regarded.
• Strong communication skills, punctuality, and the ability to work independently with sound judgement.
