Personal Care Assistant — Casual (Deagon QLD 4017)

On-demand workforce opportunity for compassionate, reliable Personal Care Assistants who want flexible hours and meaningful work supporting people in their homes. This casual, hourly role is based in Deagon QLD 4017 and is available immediately. We are looking for caring professionals ready to step in when clients need support.

As a Personal Care Assistant you will deliver essential day-to-day support that preserves dignity, independence and wellbeing. You will join an agile team that matches carers to short-notice shifts and ongoing clients, providing continuity of care and positive outcomes for people receiving services.

• Assist with personal care tasks including showering, grooming and toileting.
• Support mobility, transfers and safe use of equipment under client care plans.
• Provide medication reminders and follow medication administration instructions where required.
• Prepare meals, support feeding and manage basic meal planning according to dietary needs.
• Perform light domestic duties: laundry, bed making and maintaining a safe, clean environment.
• Accompany clients to appointments, social outings and errands, ensuring safety and comfort.
• Observe and report changes in client condition, mood or environment to supervisors and document care delivered.
• Respect privacy, cultural preferences and individual routines while building trusting relationships.

• Has a car and willingness to travel locally in Deagon and surrounding suburbs.
• Full Australian Driver’s Licence.
• Current National Police Check.
• Working With Children Check where applicable.
• Current first aid and CPR certification preferred or willing to obtain.
• Previous experience in disability support, aged care or personal care is advantageous but training can be provided.
