Job Classification: Personal Care Assistant / Worker | Job Type: Casual | Business Type: On-demand Workforce | Start: Immediately

About the Role

Join a responsive, community-focused on-demand workforce delivering respectful, person-centred support to clients across Carrum Downs and surrounding areas. As a Casual Personal Care Assistant, you will provide practical and emotional support to help clients maintain independence, dignity, and quality of life in their homes. This role suits reliable, compassionate people who can adapt quickly and communicate in Modern Greek to support Greek-speaking clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver personal care tasks such as assistance with mobility, bathing, grooming, continence support, and dressing.
  • Support daily living activities including meal preparation, light household tasks, medication reminders, and community access.
  • Build respectful relationships with clients and their families, using empathetic communication and cultural awareness.
  • Follow client care plans, report changes in condition promptly, and maintain accurate records and checklists.
  • Work flexibly to meet on-demand shifts across the Carrum Downs area, sometimes on short notice.
  • Uphold safety protocols, infection control procedures, and organisational policies at all times.
What We’re Looking For
  • Fluent or strong conversational ability in Modern Greek to provide culturally appropriate care and communication.
  • Current and valid Full Australian Drivers Licence with reliable access to a vehicle for client visits.
  • Current Police Check and Working with Children Check (WWCC) cleared and ready for verification.
  • Previous experience in aged care, disability support, or personal care is preferred but not essential; training and on-the-job mentoring are provided.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, patience, respect for client autonomy, and the ability to work independently.
  • Ability to manage time effectively, follow care plans, and adapt to varied client needs in a casual, on-demand environment.
Benefits and Perks
  • Flexible casual shifts to suit your availability, ideal for students, parents, or those seeking supplementary income.
  • Opportunities for professional development, training, and credential recognition in aged care and disability support.
  • Supportive coordination team and fast onboarding to get you into shifts quickly.
  • Meaningful work that makes a tangible difference in people’s daily lives and wellbeing.
Values and Culture

We prioritise dignity, cultural responsiveness, and client-first care. Team members are trusted to act professionally, embrace diversity, and contribute to a positive, collaborative environment. If you are empathetic, dependable, and speak Modern Greek, you will thrive in this role supporting local community members in Carrum Downs.

We welcome applicants who meet the mandatory checks and licence requirements and who are ready to start immediately in a casual, on-demand capacity.
