Description: Respite Care Mary often sits in loungeroom at rear of home. Please go to glass sliding door at rear verandah. Mary will advise if it is week 1 or week 2 and what she wishes to do during this shift. Please keep Mary engaged with conversation and do not leave her alone when you are out of the home. Please take rubbish bin to gate at front of home before leaving for garbage man to empty the following day. Tasks: Week 1. Please take Mary to Lara shopping centre and assist her with shopping. Push the trolley for Mary and assist with groceries. Please take Mary home take the groceries inside for her and engage with her while you cook meals for her that are easy for her to reheat. If time permits please tidy home. Week 2: Please clean Marys home, sweep and mop smooth surfaces, vacuum carpets make bed and hang out washing/bring washing in. Clean bathroom and laundry including shower vanity and mirror. Please make Mary some fresh rolls or take her to the shops for anything that she may require. It is important to keep Mary engaged. Mary's husband Paul passed away in December 2023 and she relied on him a great deal. Mary's daughter Pauline is her primary support. If you have any questions please contact daughter Pauline.
