Job Details
Description: I am looking for a reliable and engaged female support worker to provide daytime support, usually between 9:30am and 2:30pm, or later if needed. The role mainly involves accompanying me for shopping and community outings, including carrying groceries and heavier items, so good physical ability is important. The support worker will need to drive me in their own car to shops, appointments, and other activities. Due to multiple bone injuries and ongoing pain, I need a support worker who is careful, attentive, and safety-aware, especially when walking on uneven surfaces or in busy areas. While driving, for comfort reasons, the car window on the driver’s side should not be opened more than 5 cm. You may also assist with light household tasks, such as basic room cleaning and taking out rubbish. At times, I may need you to accompany me to medical appointments or help with simple online information searches. Occasionally, I may ask for help taking photos, always with my consent.
