Personal Care Assistant — Casual (Long Jetty NSW)

We are seeking a reliable Personal Care Assistant for casual shifts to help clients with daily living activities, medication assistance, mobility support, and household tasks. Work with purpose and autonomy across short-notice or scheduled shifts. You will deliver meaningful assistance that helps clients maintain independence, dignity, and wellbeing. • Provide personal care and support with daily living tasks in clients’ homes, respecting privacy and preferences.
• Assist with mobility and transfers, including safe use of wheelchairs and mobility aids.
• Offer domestic support such as light cleaning, laundry, meal preparation, and shopping assistance.
• Administer basic medication assistance following care plans and organisational procedures.
• Maintain accurate notes and handover information for each shift, reporting changes in client condition promptly.
• Build respectful relationships with clients, family members, and other care providers.

• Location: Able to travel to Long Jetty NSW 2261 for shifts.
• Start timeframe: Available to start immediately.
• Employment type: Casual, on-demand shifts.
• Transport: Own a car and able to travel between clients.
• License: Full Australian Driver’s Licence.
• Checks: Current National Police Check and Working with Children Check.
• Skills: Experience with wheelchairs and mobility support preferred; basic medication assistance experience required.
