As a Personal Care Assistant you will support clients with daily living activities, preserve dignity, and encourage independence. • Personal care: Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility support while respecting client preferences and privacy.
• Medication support: Prompting and monitoring medication adherence under established care plans and policies.
• Meal assistance: Help with meal preparation, feeding where required, and monitoring dietary needs and hydration.
• Household tasks: Perform light household duties such as cleaning, laundry, shopping assistance, and maintaining a safe living environment.
• Companionship and social support: Provide emotional support, engage in meaningful activities, and accompany clients to appointments and community events when needed.
• Documentation and communication: Maintain accurate notes, report changes in client condition, and liaise with coordinators and family members in a timely manner.

• Full Australian Drivers Licence: Mandatory for client transport and travel between shifts.
• Police Check: Current and valid, demonstrating suitability for working with vulnerable people.
• Working with Children Check: Current and valid, required for engaging with any clients under 18.
• Availability: Casual hours with flexibility to accept short-notice shifts; immediate start preferred.
• Communication: Clear, respectful, and effective communication skills with clients, families, and team members.
• Physical fitness: Ability to perform safe manual handling and mobility support tasks.
