Personal Care Assistant / Worker — Casual (Peakhurst NSW 2210)

We are seeking caring, reliable Personal Care Assistants to join a flexible, on‑demand workforce serving clients in Peakhurst and surrounding suburbs. This casual role suits energetic people who enjoy helping others maintain independence and comfort at home. Immediate start available. Strong communication in Modern Greek is highly valued to support Greek‑speaking clients and build trust in culturally sensitive care.

• Provide personal care: assistance with showering, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility support and transfers, respecting client dignity and preferences.
• Household assistance: light meal preparation, basic cleaning, laundry and shopping support to maintain a safe and comfortable living environment.
• Companionship and community access: meaningful conversation, social support, accompaniment to appointments, outings and errands as needed.
• Health monitoring: observe and report changes in condition, assist with medication prompts under guidance, and follow care plans.
• Accurate record keeping: maintain clear visit notes, report incidents, and communicate promptly with coordinators.
• Flexible scheduling: respond to on‑demand shifts including mornings, evenings and occasional weekends based on availability.

• Compassionate, patient and respectful individuals who value client independence and privacy.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and families.
• Fluency in Modern Greek is required or highly preferred to serve Greek‑speaking clients effectively.
• Full Australian Driver’s Licence and reliable vehicle for travel between client homes.
• Current Police Check and Working With Children Check are mandatory.
• Previous experience in aged care, disability support or personal care is preferred but not essential; we provide orientation and on‑the‑job guidance.
• Ability to follow care plans, safety procedures and infection control standards.
