ABOUT THE ROLE
An exciting opportunity has become available for multiple Registered Nurse’s to join our fantastic team at Whiddon on a permanent part time, and or casual basis. Based at our beautiful Temora aged care home, the role of a Registered Nurse involves leading a small team and providing guidance as you oversee the clinical care provided within the service. The successful candidates will be available to work over a range of shifts including morning, afternoon and night shifts on a rotating roster.

YOUR DUTIES
In this role you will be responsible for:
- Managing clinical services outcomes by ensuring services are provided as required by the Care Plan;
- Foster a supportive team environment by communicating effectively with all team members
- Plan clients’ services by developing Care Plans, determining priorities of care and establishing realistic and measurable goals.
- Provide clinical services by following the Care Plan and clinical procedures
- Evaluate client services by monitoring client responses throughout interventions and communicating observations to the team.
- Documents to support continuity of care planning
- Be an advocate for client rights and the creation of a culture where clients are respected as individuals and reporting and addressing of client related concerns is supported.
- Maintain personal and professional development to ensure currency of knowledge and best practice clinical outcome.
WHAT WE LOOK FOR
- Current registration with the AHPRA
- Proven skills in clinical care, clinical decision making and palliation;
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to coordinate teams to achieve care outcomes
- Enjoys the challenge of managing the care team and supporting their care delivery to our residents;
- Commitment to providing a high standard of client services
- Commitment to enhancing the quality of life of older persons in care
- Previous experience in aged care preferred but not essential;
- Right to work in Australia.
