About the role

As a Support Worker, you will be providing one on one support to our Disability and Health Clients and assisting them to remain living independently in their own homes through the provision of social support, personal care and domestic assistance.

Individual shifts range between 1 to 3 hours, ideal for candidates seeking additional casual work, work during school hours or students who are available between Monday and Sunday from 7am to 10pm.

Key Responsibilities  

• Social support and transportation including transport to medical appointments, grocery shopping and social activities
• Personal care including showering, grooming and dressing assistance
• Housekeeping and domestic assistance including cooking, household cleaning and laundry assistance.
• Administer basic first aid and manual handling as required

 
Skills & Experience  

• A current First Aid Certificate
• A current unrestricted Australian driver's licence
• Reliable registered vehicle with comprehensive insurance
• Strong communication skills and a passion for supporting and promoting the individual needs of our clients

Successful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including National Criminal History Record Check and a Working With Vulnerable People Card.
