Blue Care are actively seeking applications from passionate, person centred Disability Support Workers to join our Warwick Community Centre!
This is a great opportunity for Support Workers / Personal Carers and Assistants in Nursing looking for casual flexibility within an organisation that promotes career development and a positive work life balance.
As a Disability Support Worker, you can make a difference to the lives of our clients we support under the NDIS. You will work with our valued clients who may be impacted by physical and/or psychological disabilities.
The support we provide is diverse and you will be helping our clients in their own homes, within group care homes and assisting them with daily tasks and activities that may include, but will not be limited to:
Your skills and experience:
You will be an active member of your local community, have passion, energy and a background that has seen you working or volunteering within a caring capacity role previously supporting people within all community groups (including Aged, Disability or Children & Youth). You’ll present with:
Supporting our clients in the best way possible is important to us. As part of your induction with Blue Care, you will be required to complete the NDIS Worker Orientation module or provide us with your previously obtained certificate of completion. You can complete the module here:
You must also currently hold or be willing to obtain a positive notice from Disability Services (Yellow Card) and Working with Children Check (Blue Card) prior to employment.

|Selection Criteria||Desirable: Do you have full Australian working entitlements as an Australian Citizen, Australian Permanent Resident OR New Zealand Citizen?
