Aged Care Support Worker

Alpha Omega Management Consulting Pty Ltd is currently hiring a casual aged care support worker. The purpose of the role is to assist elderly clients in performing daily tasks and improve overall independence and wellbeing in a home or community setting.

Location: Fairfield Heights NSW.

Job responsibilities:

• Assisting with daily care for clients at their home including showering, changing clothes, brushing their teeth, etc.
• Performing housekeeping including domestic cleaning, laundry, food preparation, shopping.
• Training clients to care for themselves and educate family members.
• Social support to improve clients’ wellbeing and independence.
• Perform administrative duties such as always clocking in/out after each shift, making incident reports, and entering shift notes on the rostering app.
• Attend company online and offline training as required. 

About you

• Confident and calm manner.
• Communication: the ability to communicate clearly and concisely and to adapt communication skills to each client you work with.
• Availability to work on Tuesday and Friday morning.
• Ability to speak Arabic is a must. 

Desirable Qualifications:

• Experience on working with people with elderly people.
• Certificate Level III in Individual Support or Aging.
• Current Police Check.
• Full driver licence and access to a vehicle.
