Administration Officer
Oyster Care is a registered NDIS provider with the mission to improve the quality of life for people with disabilities by assisting them to achieve their life choices, either in their own homes or in the community. We have been providing high quality services and support to people with disabilities across Sydney Metro, Newcastle/Hunter and the Central West NSW.
The Role:
Oyster Care have a permanent full-time opportunity for a self-motivated Administration Officer. The ideal candidate will have exceptional communication and organizational skills to support the Team and the Participants.
Tasks will include, but are not limited to:
Administration:
- Answering telephone calls and directing them to the appropriate department.
- Manning the front desk and greeting visitors on arrival.
- Scheduling meetings and recording minutes of meetings.
- Managing fleet car and boardroom bookings.
- Managing and ordering office supplies (including stationery requests, inventory management and purchasing).
- General upkeep of office facilities, such as basic cleaning (emptying waste bins, ensuring staff rooms are tidy, etc.)
Bookkeeping:
- Entry of purchases and invoices.
- Simple reconciliation of payments.
- Processing of expense claims.
Scheduling:
- Assisting the scheduling team in the event of sick leave or annual leave.
There may be a requirement from time to time to perform other duties as per the organization’s need or request of the line manager.
Desired Criteria:
- Strong attention to detail
- Computer literacy (including competence using Excel & G-Suite)
- High organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize and manage time effectively.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Calm, confident, and level-headed demeanor in all situations.
You must also possess, or be willing to obtain:
- NDIS Worker Check
- Working with Children Check – Employment version
Employment will also be subject to the completion of the NDIS Worker Induction module and NDIS Worker COVID-19 Training module.
