The composition of the Aged Care Workforce
Most older people live independently at home and more than one million Australians have their complex health and social care needs supported by community or residential aged care services.
In this module we will explore the role of nurses, personal care workers, and allied health professionals working in aged care.
By completing this module it is anticipated that you will be able to:
- Understand the roles of the differing nursing positions
- Identify the roles of various allied health professions
- Identify the roles and contributions of PCWs
- Understand the difference between regulated and unregulated staff
A Certificate of Completion will be awarded upon successful completion.
