Profile Summary
All of our 4 facilities can cater for residents living with dementia; however, depending on the recommendation of a medical team and the level of care required, we can provide secure dementia-specific accomodation for those with higher needs.
The philosophy behind our care is based on meeting the needs of our residents, including residents living with dementia. Our staff receive extensive dementia-specific training, with special focus on social connectedness, a sense of purpose and meaning, freedom of choice and enjoyment of day-to-day activities.

Completed in 2005, the 150-bed ageing-in-place facility is bright and comfortable and our friendly, highly-trained staff go the extra mile in catering to your needs to ensure every day is an absolute pleasure.
Gillawarna offers single rooms and couples’ rooms, all with ensuites, enabling you to live the way you like.
It also features a specialised Dementia Unit with extensive outdoor areas to maximise natural light and keep our residents’ close to nature.
