Prestigious Community Care was established in 2021 with the sole aim of offering support services to all of Townsville and the surrounding areas of Far North Queensland.

Prestigious Community Care is proud to be a NDIS registered Townsville-based business. Founded by Tom Phiri, a clinical nurse with 35 years' experience in mental health and disability care. Tom brings a multitude of knowledge and experience when it comes to supporting people that require it.

Shantelle Phiri is one of Tom Phiri's very accomplished daughters, she is the co-founder of Prestigious Community Care and brings valuable knowledge to this growing business with her extensive experience in child, youth & family development and disability support.

At Prestigious Community Care we provide a range of disability services. With the services we provide, we aim to make a difference in the lives of those with disabilities by tailor-making care plans to suit each individual.

By creating a tailor-made care plan for our clients, we promote individuals to live as independently as they like. The goal is to make each of our participant's lives easier, fairer, and more involved by helping them participate in the decision-making, so by promoting their independence and progression they can feel safe, included, and not discriminated against.
