Profile Summary
The customized care model that Home Care Assistance affords each and every client features highly personalized and flexible care plans designed to meet the evolving needs of older adults
Our carers provide support with basic activities of daily living and also have the training and experience to support those living with certain conditions such as Alzheimer's or Parkinson's. Carers are also experienced in supporting a successful transition home from the hospital or a rehab facility.
At Home Care Assistance, we provide customized care to older adults so they can live happier, healthier lives at home. We champion the needs of seniors with a positive, empowering approach to ageing that celebrates independence, dignity, and quality of life.
Our carers receive exceptional training, support, and resources to deliver an unmatched care experience.
We are honored to work with the Women's Alzheimer's Movement to help raise funds and awareness for research on women's brain health and why Alzheimer's disease disproportionately affects women. We are also an approved provider to the NDIS.

The Benefits of Working with Home Care Assistance
As a Care Worker, you can make a real and meaningful difference to the lives of older Australians and their families. As a Care Worker with Home Care Assistance, not only will you enjoy an immensely rewarding work opportunity, but also flexibility in your schedule, a competitive salary and the opportunity to be part of a team that is the best of the best when it comes to home care provision.
What makes a great Care Worker?
Whilst a formal qualification in Aged Care ensures a baseline skill set, what sets our Care Workers apart are the special qualities that they bring to each unique situation. We believe great Care Workers are:
Respectful
Each individual deserves respect for who they are. An older person's thoughts, feelings, and needs are valid, and their life experience far outweighs our own. Great Care Workers believe this innately, support independence and are rewarded internally as a result.
Patient
It's easy to get frustrated when things don't work as quickly or as easily as they used to - this is all part of the ageing process. Patience is a key trait in a great Care Worker, and ensures people feel supported as they are, that they are understood.
Kind
Nobody wants to feel like they are a burden. A great Care Worker is innately compassionate and caring, makes people feel safe, and supported through their actions as well as their words.
Flexible
People like to know their Care Worker will be there when they need them. Change can happen quickly, and the ability to be agile, and jump from one task to the next is a great skill in a Care Worker.
Good Companions
Care Workers are relied upon for companionship as much as personal care. This means both being able to chat freely, be a good listener and know when the right time is for both.
Trustworthy and Responsible
Things like managing medications and transportation of older people are serious matters that require due diligence to provide peace of mind to individuals and families.
