Our Story
We started small with no intention to establish a disability service business. But it turns out life had other plans for our small family-owned business!
It all started when we met a mother who was unable to get the care she needed for her son. Being on the autism spectrum it was important for him to learn to socialise and integrate into the community to make the most out of his life.
Unfortunately, many disability service companies had started moving away from social and community access programs and more towards home care and centre-based disability services.
Initially we thought that by offering families a few hours of community integration and socialisation for their loved ones with disabilities, we would help fill a gap in the service offerings.
However, from a few hours a week, supporting a couple families, soon turned into many more hours with many more families seeking assistance. This was the catalyst for ADSR.
In 2018, we made the move to establish ADSR to help more families access the social and community skills so desperately needed for people living with disabilities.
The rest is history.
Now, we support over 50 families and their loved ones with skills to help them learn, socialise, and integrate into the community and be independent contributing members.
We also now have a team of over 60 caring professionals, all loving what they do, and they are as passionate as we are about helping people living with disabilities live their lives to the fullest.
