Community Registered Nurse - Part Time or Casual
Right at Home Gold Coast Northern Rivers an Internationally Recognised leading in-Home Care Provider is in search of an experienced Community Registered Nurse for either a Part Time or Casual position with consistent hours up to 5 days of work per week to visit and provide RN services to our Clients in their homes in Ballina, NSW and Northern Rivers surroundings.
RN services will entail but are not limited to:
Providing the necessary advice and care regarding wound management, continence care, catheter care, palliative care, transitioning from hospital to home support, short term post-surgery care, medication administration, general OB's and wellness checks just to name a few!
You’ll provide person-centred care to our Disability and Aged Care Clients in the Community, ensuring a safe environment within their home and applying your clinical skills to improve client’s quality of life and independence. You will be a part of Client management team and you’ll be seen responsible for:
- Assess, plan and implement Client care within your scope
- Consider physical, social and psychological requirements and or limitations.
- Create and update care plans, health and home safety assessments, risk management and risk prevention implementations to reflect developing needs and Client goals.
- Ensure clinical quality compliance standards are always met.
- Work collaboratively with other multi-disciplinary team members, reporting directly to the Clinical Lead RN.
- Administrative tasks, reporting, restocking nursing kits will correspond to the requirement of the role.
- Collaborate with Clients respective families, Allied Health professionals, GP'S, specialists and hospital personnel.
Please note with the utilisation of the company car, travel may be required to Tweed Heads NSW. Fully equipped nursing kit will be provided, as well as training in all CRM systems. Qualifications
- Excellent communication, clinical reporting, and clinical problem-solving skills.
- Relevant Tertiary qualification, mandatory compliance, and proven practical experience.
- Confidence with smart phones and software programs or willingness to learn.
- Blue Card and NDIS Workers Screening Clearance or willingness to obtain.
- Full, unrestricted AHPRA registration and unlimited work entitlements.
- Current Indemnity Insurance.
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate.
- National Criminal Check.
- COVID-19 Vaccinations.
- Influenza Vaccination.
- Current Australian Driver’s Licence with no restrictions.
- Comprehensive Vehicle Insurance.
- Registered Vehicle.
- NDIS Orientation module.
- Covid-19 Infection Control certificate.
- Birth Certificate or valid passport for identification purpose.
