Situated on the Murray River in Victoria’s north-west corner, Mildura is approximately 550 kilometres north-west of Melbourne, 400 kilometres north-east of Adelaide and 1,080 kilometres west of Sydney.

The city is home to a variety of top quality educational institutions including public and private primary and secondary schools, university campuses and TAFE. There are a variety of sporting facilities in the town as well as arts and culture opportunities such as art exhibitions and festivals.

Many of Australia’s major highways will take you to Mildura – the Calder Highway from Melbourne, the Sunraysia Highway from Ballarat, the Silver City Highway from Broken Hill, the Murray Valley Highway from Swan Hill and the Sturt Highway from Adelaide.  It’s around a six-hour drive from Melbourne and around four-and-a-half hours from Adelaide. The Mildura Airport operates direct flights to Melbourne, Adelaide, Sydney and Broken Hill.
