Role Description

This is a part-time on-site role as a Support Worker. As a Support Worker at Le Care, you will be responsible for supporting clients with daily living activities, social engagement, and household tasks. You will provide a high-quality, individualised service that supports our clients' independence and wellbeing, helping them to live the life they choose in their own homes.

Qualifications

  • Experience in the disability or aged care sector is desirable
  • Ability to support clients with social care, assistance with everyday living and household tasks
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and their families
  • A positive and empathetic attitude towards clients and their families
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, using initiative to solve problems and make decisions
  • Cert III in Individual Support or equivalent is desirable, but not essential
  • Valid Australian driver's license and reliable transport is desirable, but not essential
  • Must have current National Police Certificate, WWC, First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain one
