The East-West railway passes through Kalgoorlie-Boulder, and the airport hosts regular flights in and out of Perth. Esperance port, the deepest port in the southern hemisphere serves industries as an entry and exit point for the north to south transport.

This region is part of WA’s ‘Golden Outback’ that offers astounding diversity and beauty in its tranquil eucalyptus forests, wide sweeping plains, dry lake beds, low-lying scrubland, spinifex fields and coastal scenery.

Healthcare Services include key public hospitals at Kalgoorlie, Esperance, Ravensthorpe and Norseman, together with a range of community-based services, aged care and mental health services, and a number of ‘health partners’.
